On September 13th we met with MP Matt DeCourcey and Stephen Chase of the Atlantic Salmon Conservation Foundation for a funding announcement. The Atlantic Salmon Conservation Foundation generously gave $34,850 to fund two projects in our watershed: $24,350 spread over two years for assessing culverts in the watershed for fish passage, and $10,500 for a cold-water tributary restoration on MacPherson Brook.
